ActiveIQ Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training
A vocationally related qualification (VRQ), at Level 3 on the National Qualifications Framework and allows access to the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at Level 3. This qualification aims to to develop candidates with existing knowledge and skills in gym instruction who would like to develop their skills and knowledge to pursue a career in personal training
Duration
Online learning. A PC with internet access is required. Attendance on a two day workshop and assessment in Manchester is required.
Entry Requirements
Level 2 Fitness/Gym Instructor qualification. You will be booked onto both the Level 2 Fitness Gym qualification and then progress to the Level 3 PT course if you do not already hold the level 2 qualification.
Cost
£1525.00, this fee includes Level 2 Fitness Instructor.
If you hold Level 2 or 3 Fitness/Gym qualifications, the cost is £1325.00.
A 5% full payment discount is available on this course, which will be deducted at the Checkout. (This course can be paid for with a £500 deposit and 3 consecutive monthly instalments. An additional £5 per month admin charges will be added.

Assessment Criteria
- Formatively assessed direct observation of candidate carrying out a range of tests
- Case study worksheet
- Portfolio of evidence covering an eight or twelve week progressive programme of exercise for a client
- Practical observed assessment
- Nutrition case study consisting of short answer questions
- Worksheet.
- A 105 minute theory paper consisting of fifty multiple choice questions.
- A 75 minute theory paper consisting of thirty multiple choice questions.
