With the minimum level of qualification now required to work in sport at Level 4, we have developed a 'fast track' course for holders of Level 3 Sports Massage and Sports Therapy qualifications.

NCFE Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Sports Therapy (7 days practical training) Cost: £700 plus certification fee of £50.

Course date: July 19th to 23rd, 26th/27th.

Please note, before you book onto any fast track programme we will need to see the following evidence:

a) Full certificate of qualification, either in Sports Massage or Sports Therapy from an approved awarding body such as VTCT, ITEC etc. 

b) Evidence of at least 100 hours of clinical practice, or 2 years postgraduate experience.

c) Completed portfolio of course work relating to your qualification (if this is not available, you will have to complete additional home study)

The content of the fast track course will ensure that you meet the new NOS in Sports Therapy.  A final written and practical assessment will take place, covering all aspects of the NOS in Sports Therapy.

You will need to research the areas in the NOS that you have not previously covered to ensure that you have sufficient knowledge in the subject prior to starting your practical training.  We would recommend as a starter book, Hands On Sports Therapy, as this covers most of the subjects.
