The Emergency First Aid at Work Course (EFAW) is a training course introduced and approved by the Health and Safety Executive from 1st October 2009. It is a 1 day first aid course aimed at covering the essential skills required in many common emergency situations. The Emergency First Aid Course will give people the skills required to save lives and it is a good course for everyone to go on. It could save your life, the life of a family member, friend, work colleague, or maybe a stranger in need of emergency first aid assistance. On successful completion of the course the candidate will be given a certificate (approved by the Health and Safety Executive) that entitles him/her to be an Emergency First Aider in the Workplace for a period of 3 years. The Emergency First Aid at Work Course will include the following:
This is a good basic first aid course for helping employers meet the new first aid at work regulations. However this is not a replacement for, or a substitute for, the 3 day First Aid at Work (FAW) course. If your workplace requires employees qualified with the full First Aid at Work certificate you must still meet that requirement. Qualification: HSE approved Emergency First Aid at Work certificate. Course Fee: £55.00 Course Dates: 5th February, 2013. | ||||
