| Anatomy, Physiology & Massage |
The Active Health Anatomy, Physiology & Massage distance learning course can be used as a pre-requisite (along with our massage workshop, sold seperately) for the Level 4 & 5 courses, for students who do not have Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology, and Massage qualifications.
The course is studied by distance learning, in conjunction with either the Level 5 Diploma in Sport & Remedial Massage, or the Level 5 Diploma in Sports Therapy. (This is not a practitioner level course, and is intended to form the pre-requisite for our own courses).

Massage:

Effleurage - light through to deep, stroking, feathering and draining.

Petrissage - kneading, wringing, pulling, circling, knuckling, pressures.

Friction

Tapotement - hacking, cupping, pummelling, tapping.

Vibration - shaking, fine vibration.
