The Active Health Anatomy, Physiology & Massage distance learning course is a pre-requisite (along with our massage workshop, sold seperately) for the Level 5 courses, for students who do not have Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology, and Massage qualifications.
The course is studied by distance learning, in conjunction with either the Level 5 Diploma in Sport & Remedial Massage, or the Level 5 Diploma in Sports Therapy. (This is not a practitioner level course, and is intended to form the pre-requisite for our own courses).
Using workbooks, text books and DVD, the A&P & Massage distance learning course covers:

- Digestive System
- Endocrine System
- Lymphatic System
- Muscular System
- Nervous System
- Reproductive System
- Respiratory System
- Senses
- Skeletal System
- Skin
- Structural Organization and the Urinary System

Massage:

Effleurage - light through to deep, stroking, feathering and draining.

Petrissage - kneading, wringing, pulling, circling, knuckling, pressures.

Friction
-
Tapotement - hacking, cupping, pummelling, tapping.

Vibration - shaking, fine vibration.

Course Fee: £295.00 (If you book onto our Level 5 course within 4 weeks of enrolling the course fee will be deducted from the cost of the Level 5 qualification)
